How do blood debt and vital hunger work?

• Blood debt represents the power a mage has taken from the lifeblood without yet paying the corresponding price.
• Vital hunger reflects the dependence on the blood of others that a mage develops after abusing their own power.
• Three types of bleeding add another dimension to the consequences of blood magic.
• These mechanics bring dangerous choices and tension to dark, morally ambiguous campaigns.

Why does this set transform your game?

• It introduces new ways to explore the price of power through blood debt and vital hunger.
• It provides visual tools for referencing spells, effects, and consequences at the table.
• It helps the DM track this volume’s mechanics during play.
• Ideal for characters who seek power at any cost.

Every card is a temptation. Every spell raises a question: how much power can you take before the price comes due? Explore the limits of blood magic and decide how far you are willing to go.
