An ancient enemy has returned. One that lurks in legends and shadows, awaiting the moment of its vengeance. The Eight, leaders of a forgotten empire, are awakening, and their influence begins to spread from the south to the city of Arteal. Their minions scour the lands, reclaiming the artifacts and treasures that once secured their rule.
Meanwhile, at the other end of the sea, the Red Archipelago has come to life again. Fishermen now avoid its shores. They speak of strange lights and shadowy figures in the distance. From its shores, red-sailed ships set out for the mainland, heralding the return of a threat that cannot be ignored.
